How can you save energy in the office?

Okay, you don't have a big factory hall or plant. You simply have an office where you want to save some energy. But how can you save energy in the office? We are happy to give you some tips:

Save paper! A so-called “paperless office” means that you do not print unnecessary minutes and reports, but that you work digitally as much as possible. For example, during a meeting you can also show the agenda and minutes on a screen, so that everyone can read along and nothing needs to be printed.

Check every night whether everyone has turned off their computer. Most people shut down their computers, but don't turn off their screens. You can of course also choose to switch off the power completely at night and during the weekend or to use power strips with an on/off switch. Immediately a lot safer!

Limit the number of spaces in the office. After all, every room has to be heated and illuminated again. This also ensures that there is not enough daylight in every room and that lights have to be turned on all day long.

In addition, you can choose to have the current lighting in your office replaced by LED lighting. LED lighting in the office can provide significant energy savings! Whereas with fluorescent lighting 90% of the energy is used for heat, this is not the case with LED lighting. This provides significant energy savings.
